What is a Sun Sign?

A Sun Sign is your birth sign, your star sign. It is the sign of the zodiac under which you were born. It is the position the sun was in at the time of your birth. Star sign and sun sign are interchangeable words and mean the same thing.

As the Earth orbits the Sun it passes through various star sign groups (constellations) which make up the 12 sun signs (star signs) in the Zodiac. The Sun takes approximately 30 days to pass through one sign of the Zodiac. The time and date you were born relate to the position the sun (and other planets) was in at the time of your birth.
